CHALET TANA INCANTATAOn Friday, November 3, at the Chalet Tana Incantata, he will be presenting his new book dedicated to his passion and devotion. CLUB 45 AGAIN, published by Ediciones Chelsea in December 2017, is the sequel of the very successful CLUB 45, a book written seven years ago. Following the same scheme used in his first work, Alex has chosen 90 songs from the sixties, 90 mod-beat classics beloved in our scene, that help the author to fill his book with great music, anecdotes and very rarely seen images, all of them taken from original material from the period. In its pages you will find The Creation, The Who and other popular groups sharing space with more obscure acts such as Listen, The Answers, The Lovin’, Wynder K. Frog or Richard Kent Style.
In the presentation of CLUB 45 AGAIN, we will screen an interesting ten minute mini-documentary where Alex Cooper shows his collection of sixties memorabilia and explains some details about how the book has been conceived. And after this short film, the author will choose four or five 45’s to propose an audition and open dialogue, splashed with bands trivia, many music stories and even some sixties tales.
